Cut Noise is a sound design and mix studio led by Dan Flosdorf — full sound design, mix, and sonic identity for agencies and directors across advertising, film, and branded content.
Remote-native by design — real-time review sessions and broadcast-spec delivery anywhere in the world. The multi-room model rotates a brief across mixers and rooms; Cut Noise works the opposite way: the same hands on the sound from first brief to final delivery — no handoffs, no rotation. The person you brief is the person on the faders, alongside your team the whole way.
Modern tools, used like any instrument — in service of the work. AI is part of the kit, never a shortcut: every creative call is human, and final voice and music are always real talent.
Dan Flosdorf is the founder of Cut Noise and its single author — sound design and mix on every project. His roots are in narrative film — sound design on features including Blue Valentine and The Place Beyond the Pines — before commercial post at Heard City and Barking Owl. His work is part of campaigns recognized at Cannes Lions.
