A veteran of the New York audio post scene, Dan Flosdorf has spent over two decades shaping the sound of the industry’s most celebrated works.
Prior to founding Cut Noise, Dan served as a Senior Mixer/Sound Designer at top-tier legacy houses including Heard City and Barking Owl, where he helped launch their NY division. His portfolio bridges the gap between commerce and cinema—spanning high-stakes Super Bowl spots to the raw, atmospheric soundscapes of Derek Cianfrance’s Blue Valentine and The Place Beyond the Pines.
In 2024, Dan launched Cut Noise to evolve the studio model. Prioritizing pure creative access, he now offers agencies a direct line to elite craft—delivering cinema-grade sound design and mix with the speed and intimacy of a boutique partnership.
